It was December 26th, 2004, when the Chargers and Colts faced off in week 16 from the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. Both teams were 11-3 heading into the game, each hoping to gain playoff positioning. History was made that day. Coming into the game, Colts QB Peyton Manning had thrown 47 touchdown passes during the season, only 1 away from tying a record set by Dan Marino. The Colts fell behind early. Manning threw the record tying pass on a shovel pass to James Mungro. The Chargers led 31-16 in the 4th quarter, however. The Colts would come roaring back, first with a kick return TD by Dominic Rhodes. Then, Manning threw the record breaking touchdown to Brandon Stokley. Immediately after, they got a 2 point conversion to tie the game and force overtime, where they would win the coin toss and kick a field goal to win 34-31. Despite the fact that Patriots QB Tom Brady broke the same record this past year, this thrilling game remains one of the most memorable contests in recent history. And even more memorable to myself personally, as I was at that game. This video is a Tecmo Super Bowl (SNES version) recreation of the record breaking pass as well as the ending of the game. This video wound up running kinda long so I had to cut a few note worthy facts. - This is actually the spiritual prequel to Shadow Run (NOT the xbox 360 version). Most of the people who made Nightshade, went on to make Shadow Run, which, when you think about it, did have some similarities. - There is actually a credit for "Bad Jokes", which is awesome.

Here's the concept. I created a rom edit of the SNES version of Tecmo Super Bowl to have the best team of 28 different franchises. The games are being simulated with a special schedule (All conference teams play each other, then 3 non-conference games) This series of videos will show highlights from the games that come as a result of CPU vs CPU simulation. I use the original NES game for footage, because even though the All-stars version is better in graphics, its basically the same game and to do a let's play I should do the original not a remake. Super Mario Bros. 3 is the most famous mario game of all time except for the original Super Mario Bros. Its the first one to have an overworld map view which was a new thing back then and it was revolutionary in the fact that you could choose your route, find secrets, and other things. Gameplay: Anyway, Luigi of course is only playable as player 2, but I dont think they really have much difference in ability. Its pretty much just a color swap to make you able to tell the difference between you and your 2nd player. World 1 (Grass Land) - kinda hard to describe as it doesnt really have a theme beyond just grassy fields and more grassy fields.
