It took a day but she confessed she had resentment towards me; that fits with despised. Resentment and despite are just forms of judgment that she knows better or would have done better. Michal, Saul s daughter despised, resented, i.e. judged David, and look at her seed; she never had any. 2 Samuel 6:16 And it was so, as the ark of Jehovah came into the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before Jehovah; and she despised him in her heart. Our men simply cannot move forward with their mission from the Lord until the Jezebel, and disorder in the home is handled. It puts the men and the children in terrible, terrible danger. Also, I saw one of their tricks of rebellion very clearly. It goes like this: With tears she is weeping and saying I don t get it. I don t understand, I don t see it, are you sure? Are you sure it s me and not you? It can t be me, I don t understand, I do this and that .. on and on. She is never willing to come to the understanding of the truth. The woman is not aware of it on the surface. She thinks it s her thoughts, her true feelings but it s not. It s her manipulated feelings and thoughts. She can t tell the truth from a lie and actually believes the lie is true. There must first be that willingness in the recesses of the heart to come into order no matter what it looks or feels like to them. Their feelings cannot be trusted because it s based on faulty information or lies. Secondly the mind must be willing to say this is God s Word and I will follow it period. Their feelings are a ploy, a misdirection to cover up their rebellion, just to hang on for a little longer. It s like painting your face and going to the window for all to see your beauty. Peters By Pastor Gene Applegate Colossians 1:13-14 (New American Standard Bible) 13For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. What a wonderful truth! God has set us free from the bondage of darkness. The law of sin and death that we inherited from birth has been broken. This verse speaks of the domain of darkness. Domain is another name for Kingdom. It may be hard to believe that we were born into a Kingdom of darkness filled with evil and ungodliness. Yet, it is true. We were in bondage as a slave. The power of sin and darkness held us bound helplessly to an evil taskmaster, Satan and his kingdom. We were hopelessly trapped. We could not free ourselves. There was no deliverance, unless someone rescued us. Then Jesus came! He rescued us from our bondage, defeated the power of our slave master, and set us free. He loosed us from the Kingdom of darkness, and gave us new citizenship in the Kingdom of God. We were transferred from citizenship in Satan s domain to eternal life and membership in the Kingdom of God. Jesus rescued us, restored us, and transformed us into a new creation of righteousness. He redeemed us (bought us back) from death and destruction. He forgave our sin and restored our citizenship. All the privileges of the children of God are ours. He has given us new covenant and birthright. We shall rule and reign with him forever. Praise his holy name! Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for sending Jesus, your only begotten son, to suffer and die for me. Thank you for setting me free from the domain of darkness. Peters When you sing the hymn I Love to tell the Story do you know to which bible story the song refers? We know that Jesus died on the cross and that story is told in the bible; other stories such as David and Goliath, Daniel in the lion s den, and Abraham offering up his son Isaac these are all Bible stories. Could the hymn refer to one of these? The church world today teaches that the Bible story is this: The God of the Old Testament is God working with the Jews. Then through the Jews, He brought His son Jesus, and Jesus established a new covenant and now salvation is open to the Gentiles. But, I want to tell you a different story. A simple study on Anglo-Israel truth and something that has taken years to gather; it is new and exciting information for many. I want you to gain an understanding about a people; and, to understand that God has not changed. The Bible says that God is the same today, yesterday, and forever. He just does not change; and, the Bible tells us that there is something that our God cannot do - it is impossible for Him to lie. Keep those things in mind while you read this. Remember, God does not change and He cannot lie. The problem that exists today is that the words Jew and Gentile are very confusing to the church world. To the church world today, the word Gentile means non-Jew. And the word Jew means those people in the Old Testament. Think about this profound thought. The people in the Old Testament, for the most part, were not called Jews. Abraham was not called a Jew. Peters When you sing the hymn I Love to tell the Story do you know to which bible story the song refers? We know that Jesus died on the cross and that story is told in the bible; other stories such as David and Goliath, Daniel in the lion s den, and Abraham offering up his son Isaac these are all Bible stories. Could the hymn refer to one of these? The church world today teaches that the Bible story is this: The God of the Old Testament is God working with the Jews. Then through the Jews, He brought His son Jesus, and Jesus established a new covenant and now salvation is open to the Gentiles. But, I want to tell you a different story. A simple study on Anglo-Israel truth and something that has taken years to gather; it is new and exciting information for many. I want you to gain an understanding about a people; and, to understand that God has not changed. The Bible says that God is the same today, yesterday, and forever. He just does not change; and, the Bible tells us that there is something that our God cannot do - it is impossible for Him to lie. Keep those things in mind while you read this. Remember, God does not change and He cannot lie. The problem that exists today is that the words Jew and Gentile are very confusing to the church world. To the church world today, the word Gentile means non-Jew. And the word Jew means those people in the Old Testament. Think about this profound thought. The people in the Old Testament, for the most part, were not called Jews. Abraham was not called a Jew. BE ALIVE TRANSFORMED Romans 6:12-13 (New American Standard Bible) 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, 13and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Once we are redeemed from sin (Romans 2:38). We become free from the law of sin and death. We have been given new life. That new life gives us power and strength to say No! to sin. No longer do we have to yield to our sinful desires. God gives us complete control of our life. We are brought into sweet fellowship with Him by his Spirit. He has given us the discipline to direct our activities in the way of righteousness. Our mind, body and Spirit have the capacity to fellowship with God, and be guided and strengthened by the Holy Spirit for the very first time. Ability to turn away from temptation is implanted within us. The lust for sin and self gratification must come into submission. When we refuse to yield our selves to the sinful demands of our carnal nature, we, as Christians, can say No! to the law of sin. A new spirit abides within us through the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Old things have passed away, and all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17). We have traded the curse of death for the blessing of eternal life through the redemptive work of Jesus, our Lord. Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for changing my life. Help me to understand that I no longer have to yield to the temptation of sin. Teach me to be strong in my convictions, and to reject the old way of life.
