The Palm Pre has been marketed in part on its media playing capabilities and its ability to sync with iTunes. If you stay one version behind on the iTunes update cycle, that's true. However, Apple seems to be actively trying to make sure iTunes syncing doesn't work on the Palm Pre. With each iTunes update you install, you run the risk of disabling syncing from the Palm Pre to iTunes and vice-versa.

The Palm Pre comes with a charging solution in the box. However, the Touchstone charging accessory makes charging your Palm Pre easier as there's no fumbling with cables. Simply plop your Palm Pre on the Touchstone charging base and you're charging through magnetic induction.

Synergy on the Palm Pre puts the web in webOS. With Synergy, contacts from multiple sources like Google, Facebook and even Microsoft Exchange contacts are synced with the Palm Pre easily. This ensures you'll always have the most up-to-date information for your contacts. You can also assign a photo to a contact on the Palm Pre.

Synergy in the Palm Pre extends to the calendar application as well as the contacts application. Using Synergy to sync Palm Pre with Microsoft Exchange, Facebook and Google means you'll always have up to date appointments synced to the Palm Pre.
