For The Love Of Cranor
from Vimeo / Recent Public Videos July 18, 2008
First off, let me apologize for the quality. I am re-rendering a much sleeker and better version but it will be a few days before I get it uploaded. This is from a whole bunch of days at Cranor Hill this winter. People appearing in this film include Kevin Brooks, Joe Wattles, Marcus Elich, Nate Hardy, Corey Hartman, Richard Hayden, & Avery Rennick. This was the best snow year Cranor has had in 30 something years, so we definitely were able to get a little bit on our backyard hill that we love so much. Cast: Whorefish Productions

Bulldog pure USA
from YouTube :: Tag // snowboard July 17, 2008
"I hope all is well. I want to congratulate you on the Bulldogs!!! Just got back from Steamboat. The Bulldog is amazing!!!! Very well made and solid. Handles powder, crud, packed powder, bumps, etc., extremely well. I had a blast on them. My friend who only skis on ski boards demo them and said they are the best ski boards in his arsenal. He loves them and he has 14 different pairs of ski boards. Quite a few people did a double take on the lift line and some of the comments were: wicked, cool, awesome, when we told them it's both a pair of skis and a snowboard. They are a lot of fun. As skis, they are very fast, quick in the bumps and handles powder very well. It is an excellent all terrain skis. It edges very well, therefore, the skis can handle icy terrain. A big plus in the Northeast ski resorts because of constant fluctuations in temperatures. Before I demoed them, I thought they may be a bit short at 112 cm. The otherski boards I demoed were 110 cm and they were way too short, but they were very wide as well. However, the Bulldogs worked very well for my height and weight. I'm 5 feet 11 inches and 220 pounds. As a snowboard, it handles very well. For those who snowboard with a duck stance will love them. Regular snowboarders will have fun with them as well, but may take a couple of runs to get use to the duck stance. As a snowboard, it edges very well and can handle bumps, but is excellent on groomed runs. I'm hoping to test them in powder soon. Both of us are advanced to expert skiers and have been skiing for over 15 years. Willie is an expert snowboarder with 5+ years of snowboarding experience. I'm an intermediate snowboarder with 3+ years of snowboarding experience." Kevin Ski Klub International The bindings are sturdy and very high quality. When attached, you wouldn't know they are not bolted on. The switch from skiboard to snowboard mode is very fast and easy. Boot size adjustments are done with a standard allen wrench (not included). Leashes are also not included. Most ski areas will reqire you to have them. Putting the skiboards on is easy with the spring loaded rear bail. Plastic caps cover the unused binding mounts keeping the snow out so you can switch modes more easily. Compared to Snowjam or Bomber bindings, these are a little more difficult to adjust. I recommend that you do it at home. The bindings are not suitable for quick on mountain adjustments like the FF Cam. Your buddies will just have to wait to give them a try. Now let's go skiboarding.Here's how the day went. Conditions, loose granular on ice (I call it sugar on steel). I started the day warming up on my EMP"s. After a few runs I pulled out the "Bulldogs". The first thing I noticed was how smooth and fast they are. It took no time to get the feel of the product. The flex is similiar to Line Pro 99's (no longer made). Less flexbible than Revel8's so the turning radius is a bit larger but carving is solid and predictable. Performance on ice was also good.Straight line tracking is impressive and stability at speed (very high speed) is nothing short of AWESOME. What about chatter? What chatter. I have found a new high and am certian that I have gone faster than any other moment in my skiboarding life!I would have liked to take them into the trees but lack of snow prevented me from doing so. I was however able to get to the park to try jumps and tricks. Jump landings were smooth and very much in control.ADDED TEXT - Got them into the trees and as an added bonus, lots of powder. I couldn't take my usual tight tree turns but was still able to outperform most skiers and boarders in both the single and double black glade runs. Powder performance was sweet and the memories of the day will linger for some time. When jumping of off big steeps, I was able to easily float away and start looking for my next free fall. - END ADDED TEXTAt first look, the "Bulldog's" are pretty big. Larger than anything ever on my feet. But skating was still effortless and I never caught an edge or tripped up on myself.These bad boys are also head turners. I could here people behind me in the lift line talking about them. I had no time to chat, I needed to get back to the top to do it all over again.Overall quality and experience is above expectations. A very big thumbs up. The skiboards are very well balanced and made to last. I really liked that it had a cap construction and after a hard day on the slopes the edges are still cherry.I'm not about to take on snowboarding, but when used as a skiboard, these "puppies" rule. I only wish they had a standard 4X4 binding setup so I could mount my risers and release bindings.Like Gary from Boardski says "A pair of Bulldog's are for life, not just for Christmas".
