Developer: Video System Publisher: Mc O'River Platform: Super Nintendo Entertainment System Wikipedia Entry: Aero Fighters (known as Sonic Wings in Japan) is a vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up ("shmup") arcade game released in 1992 by Video System, ported to the Super Famicom in 1993 and the Super Nintendo in 1994. It spawned two sequels for the Neo-Geo, one for the Arcades (with ports to the PlayStation and Sega Saturn) and one in 3-D for the Nintendo 64. The first sequel was notorious for multiple instances of Engrish, such as "I never thought I'd be frying over a jungle." Most of the creative team that worked on Aero Fighters created Strikers 1945 and other shmups for Psikyo.

While it's not an arcade game, it's so cool we decided on checking it out anyway. From 1987 it's Hudson Soft's Shooting Watch! This handy little gizmo tracks the amount of button presses you can do within 10 seconds. Players in Japan used this to build up their skills in shooting games like Galaga and Star Soldier. The Shooting Watch was re-released in a limited edition 10,000 unit run and you can pick yours up at import sites like NCXS.com and eBay as well.

Encore du shoot them up avec cette fois, l'un des plus grands shoot them up, voire même pour beaucoup le meilleur manic shooter existant.
