The effects of Time Travel have started to rot the stomachs of our two heroes. In an attempt to get the Time Cooler back, Mantooth and Orange have kidnapped a young Paulington, threatening to kill him and make Future Paulington nothing but a memory lost to the paradoxes of Time. While they await their ransom payment, they watch and comment on Danny Devito's Comedy Classic "RUTHLESS PEOPLE". Too bad traipsing backwards through the Box Office Season has left their brains scrambled. Running time is 96 minutes. Date on the Cooler is set at June 27th, 1986 where newcomer "RUTHLESS PEOPLE" drew in $5,274,306 at the box office to become the number 4 film of the week, coming in behind second week #1 hold over "Karate Kid II" (see last week's Soju show), three week holdover "Back To School" (see our Soju show from 2 weeks ago), and 2nd week holdover Legal Eagles.

Our Soju Army is going back twenty years into the Past to track the top box office draws from the summer of 1986. Simple, Mantooth and Orange managed to create a time machine out of a Coleman's Beer Cooler (fueled by tasty hops, no less). Alan Orange & Mantooth ditch Paulington a week in the past to visit Seann’s old High School in Pullman, Washington. Blasting into the Cafeteria, they happen upon Little Seanny Mantooth sitting by himself, studying the script to next week’s big high school play (which he is an understudy for). Under the guise of Film Executives, the Soju Boys proceed to show Young Seanny the film “Back to School” to get his “feedback” on the just released comedy. During the screening they serve (the then 15 year old) Mantooth his very first beer, thus dooming his future life forever! Whoops…Running time is 100 minutes. Date on the Cooler is set at June 13th, 1986 where “BACK TO SCHOOL” drew in $8,881,035 at the box office to become the number 1 film of the week, beating out other newcomer “Ferris Bueller's Day Off ” and five week hold over “Top Gun”.

B. ALAN and PAULINGTION take you frame-by-frame through the 1978 Nazi-Jew Cult Classic: THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL! With Mantooth MIA in Californ-I-A, Paulington emerges from obscurity with special guest Neo-Nazi Professor Lucious Reichtlung in-tow. Listen as they mock the on-screen death of Rabbi Guttenberg while chomping on some deep fried pork rinds. This particular commentary is not for the sensitive at heart. It just may offend even the most jaded, hateful individuals. Blacks, Jews, Gays, Germans, Nazis, Mexicans, Asians, Truck Drivers, and White People in general probably shouldn’t listen. But, hey…It’s all in good fun! Running time is 128 minutes.

B. ALAN and MANTOOTH take you frame-by-frame through James Gunn’s directorial Debut: SLITHER! The boys gather up there PSP and a bootleg of the “still in theaters” cult classic Slither, heading over to the Drawing Room Bar in Los Angeles at 6 am for a live free-for-all commentary. Listen as the early morning Barflies join in with their take on the film. It’s a good one. Running time is 127 minutes.

B. ALAN and MANTOOTH take you frame-by-frame through the most fag-centric cowboy movie ever made: Brokeback Mountain! After receiving multiple cease and desist orders from the film studio, the boys finally convince Ang Lee to drop the charges and join them for this very FEY episode of Soju After Movie. Running time is 127 minutes.
