He was exposed to country music (his father was a fan) as well as the symphonic classics and, one year, even the Newport Jazz Festival at the nearby Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Father Time is the album that Hal Ketchum’s talents have promised ever since he burst onto the country music scene in 1991, hitting #1 with his very first single, “Small Town Saturday Night.” DAILEY & VINCENT captured an unprecedented seven International Bluegrass Music Awards including the IBMA Entertainers of the Year. Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent are veterans of Bluegrass music having some twenty years experience between the two of them from long tenures with Bluegrass and Country legends Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs. In 2003, the two worked together on a project which sparked into the early planning and structuring of a new duo and band that would become Dailey and Vincent. The band is about to release their second studio release for Rounder Records titled Brothers From Different Mothers in March.

I speak with Brian Katulis, an expert on the Middle East from the Center for American Progress.
