Which Jerusalem Holds You?
from Believer's Church Wednesday Night! July 23, 2008
The Church still struggles with those that would turn us back to the slavery of the Law. Some attempts are blatant and yet some are very subtle. One such subtle attempt is to bind us to the times and seasons, (which includes the feasts), of the Law. Many observe the Jewish calendar more closely than they do the promises of God that are yes and amen in Christ Jesus! (2 Corinthians 1:20) These determine the strength and opposition of the enemy, the struggles of the Church, and even the times of blessings from God by the superstition of a calendar that has nothing to do with Spirit and therefore nothing to do with the Church! The Church is not bound by Jewish times and seasons for we are not under the earthly Jerusalem, (though we love and pray for her and her people), we belong to the New Jerusalem in heaven and as such are not bound to any earthly laws or timetables! Secrets - Rest
from Believer's Church July 21, 2008
The kingdom of religion is a busy place with more teaching on how to do and what to do than anyone could ever keep up with, let alone master! We are told faith is to believe, but then we are told what we must do to receive by faith. The teaching is always clear that Christ defeated the powers of darkness on our behalf, but then we are instructed how powerful those same forces are compared to those that believe on Christ, and that we must learn how to overcome them! If faith is not faith and enemies are not really defeated, then what hope does the Church have? Thank God we have all hope for the work of Christ is complete! The Kingdom of Heaven is a place of power, peace, and love - not a place of continuous struggle and work. When we believe on Jesus we do not enter a life of working to receive and overcome, we enter a life of rest in which we live in that all complete work of Christ. End of the World Pt 10-4of8
from YouTube :: Tag // second life July 21, 2008
This video series is a little different. This is one our of the first attempts by one of our church goers to record JD's Sermon. This is one of the only 3 remaining videos of these first recording attempts. This is Part # 10 of a 10 part teaching which is one of JD's most popular teachings titled, "The End of the World Series", because this is Jesus answer to the disciples questions about, when and how will be the destruction of the temple, the end of the age, the end of the world, and Jesus own return. While most all of this 10 part series was recorded, only part #'s 6, 8, I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me.' The righteous will then answer him, 'When, Lord, did we ever see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? When did we ever see you a stranger and welcome you in our homes, or naked and clothe you? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?' The King will reply, 'I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these followers of mine, you did it for me!' "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Away from me, you that are under God's curse! Away to the eternal fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels! I was hungry but you would not feed me, thirsty but you would not give me a drink; I was a stranger but you would not welcome me in your homes, naked but you would not clothe me; I was sick and in prison but you would not take care of me.' Then they will answer him, 'When, Lord, did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and we would not help you?' The King will reply, 'I tell you, whenever you refused to help one of these least important ones, you refused to help me.' These, then, will be sent off to eternal punishment, but the righteous will go to eternal life." (Matthew 25:31-46) 8/20/2006 A.D. Terminator Salvation - Bale a hit two summers in a row!
from YouTube :: Videos by BlackTreeMedia July 20, 2008
Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind. Written by Warner Bros. Pictures. One of the most anticipated films for next year is Termination Salvation, the latest in the long running franchise that started with the first Terminator with Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1984. The Terminator 4 trailer, a 30-second teaser, has just hit the Internet. Terminator Salvation picks up the story in 2018, after the destruction of human civilization by the artificial intelligence known as Skynet. Christian Bale stars at the iconic character John Connor, who was conceived in the first Terminator film by a union with Sarah Conner, then played by Linda Hamilton, and Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future. Kyle Reese appears in Terminator Salvation played by Anton Yelchen. Bryce Dallas Howard and Helen Bonham Carter also are in the cast, with Josh Brolin rumored to appear as the Terminator. The Terminator 4 trailer hints that "this is not the future my mother told me about" and has John Conner expressing doubts that humanity can actually win against the machines. According to Comingsoon.net, John Conner meets a man named Marcus Wright, played by Sam Worthington, who may be from the future or may be from the past, but has definitely something to do with the altered 2018. Both men must go on a quest to the very heart of Skynet as the artificial intelligence prepares for the final annihilation of mankind. The Terminator series, which has spawned three films (soon to be four with Terminator Salvation) and a hit TV series, plays on themes of the fear of technology that are as old as Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. By creating computers that can think and robots that can do anything humans can do, only better, are we in effect fashioning the next step in evolution, as well as our own destruction? The history of cinema is replete with computers like Skynet that run amok and turn on the humans for whom they have been built to serve. HAL 9000 kills most of the crew of the Discovery expedition to Jupiter in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Colossus, in Colossus the Forbin Project overthrows the human race in a cybernetic coup and begins an absolute rule over the human race "for our own good." The remorseless Terminators have their counterparts as well. Besides Frankenstein, which spawned several classic films, robots have been rebelling against the human race for decades on the big and small screens. The latest of the genre was a very loose adaptation of I, Robot, which starred Will Smith. In real life, computers and robots have remained our servants, not potential masters or destroyers. This article, for instance, is being typed on a computer with power that was barely imaginable when 2001: A Space Odyssey and Colossus came out in the 1960s. Robots build our cars and other appliances, help explore the planets, and have even begun to mow our lawns and vacuum our floors. The effect of ever more advanced computers and robots is likely to be far more benign that the scenario of Terminator Salvation, with relentless Terminators directed by an insane artificial intelligence to kill off humanity. They are quickly freeing us from drudgery and have expanded our capacity to do things. That does not make Terminator Salvation any less enjoyable or exciting. We love to be scared. Terminator Salvation opens May 22nd, 2009. http://www.blacktree.tv Author: blacktreemedia Keywords: filmmaker reel interview trailer Arnold Christian Bale Terminator Salvation Action Thriller Dark Knight 2009 Added: July 20, 2008

Rapture Update
from Believer's Church July 17, 2008
There is much being said now about dates, times, and seasons. Of these we should be aware and we should know what is and is to come. Such gives us hope while both prodding us to stay faithful to the message of the Gospel and at the same time bringing up in us that mixture of wanting more time to see more come in while desiring to be at home with the Lord. We have many signs concerning the Second Coming of the Lord to earth to rule and reign. We have one sign concerning the catching away or rapture of the saints: (Acts 1:9), After He (Christ) said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. From that time on, the rapture of Church has always been possible. We say possible, as the rapture of the Church seems to be tied to the nearness of the Second Coming of Christ of which all signs point to Israel . Living as Sons
from Believer's Church Wednesday Night! July 17, 2008
People, especially religious people, love rules and guidelines. (And people love to ignore, change, and rebel against rules and guidelines.) Those that love rules love to judge others against the rules. Such is the attitude of slaves and little children. Those that have believed in Christ have come to know God as Father. As children of God with full rights and favor we need no rules, regulations or observances to cause us to feel closer to our Father, to enable us to receive blessing, or to otherwise keep us in the blessing, presence, and favor of our Father.
