Today Seattle's Pike Place Market is 100 years old. It started as a protest. Onion farmers felt they weren't getting a fair price. So they set up their carts to sell onions directly to shoppers. The Pike Place Market remains a symbol of resistance to total commercialization. It's Seattle's signature location. Share your stories of the market. How has it changed? How has it stayed the same? Do you love the idea of the Pike Place Market, but seldom actually go? Is it just a place for out-of-towners? Do you think the Pike Place Market is overrated?Also, the U.S. News and World Report's annual college rankings are out. Some colleges are passively boycotting the rankings.
