The first-ever Congressional hearing on virtual worlds took place on April 1, 2008 in Washington, D.C. Linden Lab CEO Philip Rosedale testified before the House Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet. As part of his presentation, Mr. Rosedale presented a seven-minute machinima scripted, shot and edited by Silver and Goldie with additional footage provided by Torley Linden.

Draxtor went to Chicago, met virtual friends for the first time ever in RL, made new RL friends to be contacted in SL soon, was overwhelmed, then relaxed and enjoyed the panels a lot! What a trip!
