A fast slap line played to a country/shout drumbeat. Its almosst like cheating playing this shorscale bass with light gauge strings (40 -95), so easy to slap and pop...

Its almost the same ascending octave pattern - thumb index middle, thumb index middle... The simulated E9 chord starts out as a D#9 (G C# F from bottom up) chord and slides to the E9 chord (G#D F# from bottom up)

Am blues lick with diminished chord run, a more esoteric sounding lick incorporating the dimished chord notes A, C, Eb and F# (going up in minor thirds).

Blues scale fills in Am or A7
