423,845 Vimeos - Clark Hagins and Greenhouse Effect enjoy some of the internet's most Lavish Web Traffic. High Video Views come from overseas in abundance for this Los Angeles California Three piece band that also features bassist Rick Carmody and Long Beach Drummer Greg Tarpley. Greenhouse Effect rival the mighty web traffic of Susan Boyle and American idol acts as well as Tila Tequila and Perez Hilton with some of our world's most well known hit songs; "The White Black Song" blasts from country to country, netting G.e. a following at their many Twitter accounts as well as some 23,000 Followers at their Myspace friends list. G.e. easily blasted into Myspace's all time Top 200 bands in 2008 and 2009 as their 'curiosity index' smashes the traffic of other bands,...and even some bands on major tours as well as Major recording labels. "We just got better songs than everybody else,...music sucks now" says Clark Hagins in August 2008 "My music is better than 3/4 of the bands out now,..its easy for fans in Europe to spot G.e." Greenhouse Effect feed off a jaded and bored music community, many of whome have never heard of the band before and are discovering songs like "Brandy" and the "Magic Man" for the first time "We're revolutionarys" says Hagins "People love our music ,...its different" US-amerikanische Alternative-Rock-Band "Treibhauseffekt" explodierte auf dem Internet im Jahr 2009 mit noch gr eren Video-Ansichten als Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters oder Green Day. Spezialisten - Greenhouse Effect's "22nd Street" Song explodes with power and a trippy psychedelic guitar break that takes one on a ride like "Star Trek".....The vocals reflect u2's Bono rather than Eddie Vedder......There is also a Cure meets Morrisey touch...very 1980's post-new wave

298,582 Views - Top Influencial Artists Mefeedia's Top Bands 2009 - Greenhouse Effect Music World Wide and Jango.Radio FM BMI. - Virtually ALL Of the Music we have heard on FM RADIO for the past 18 years goes back to a three piece band from Los Angeles California who forged ahead with the break-through ideas of combining heavy metal, garage rock, and punk rock and funk to form a fresh new concept sound in "Alternative Hard Rock" or "Grunge". From Geekey bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Creed to Pearl Jam, Nirvana and even bands from Smashing Pumpkins to Green Day and Blink 182 and Everclear, Industry A & R's took the cue for arena hard pop from one mighty band as far back as 1986 and 87 in Redondo Beach California (Los Angeles). Guitarist Phil Keegan was a revolutionary short haired axeman who dressed in sweaters and striped soccer shirts on stage looking like a myopic combination of Greg Brady, Ben Stiller in "Theres Sonething about Mary", and the Menendez Brothers...as he weilded his guitar, often stepping on an ear splitting ferocious display of effects peddles to create a violent 'wall of Dr. Phil Keegan din" 'Wall of guitar Sound' at G.E. concerts. The music industry gobbled up so much about the 'culture' of the wild and zaney crazy little G.e. Bassist Rick Carmody was a study in white suburbia dorky imperfections what with his pathetic strange look of albinoism and heavily freckled red hair, often wearing flannel sweaters, torn jeans, and a semi-Cliff Burton attire, He alone practically gave birth to Weezer and Beck ...Ego-maniac Drummer-cum-guitarist / all around musician mad man-with-too many hats Clark Hagins was the visionary who created the 'family' that was the tight three piece trio G.e.- borrowing heavily from David Bowie and the Who and the Monkees ,..along with wild ideas for big "Alternative rock festival' concerts ,..featuring punk and emo bands only !! And boy, did the record Labels ever take NOTE INDEED !!! G.E. were never signed in their hey-day and faded away much to the dismay of Hagins but as they say "You can't keep a good man (Or band) down ,..and in 2004 and 2005 - the G.e. comeback or,..THE COMEBACK OF THE CENTURY WAS ON DAWG !! Through the years , fans around the world would easily come to the discovery of the mighty G.e. and their collection of great, hand crafted, stand-alone Songs,...rescueing the band from the obscurity that Keegan and Hagins hated,...Tracks like Brandy and 'Coke Snorting' became monsters of the net at Google and Youtube and the once again mighty little band has never looked back - 2009 FIVE YEARS before there was a Nirvana, there was a G.e. ,..influenced by the Minutemen and A Noise Agency and Cream and Tom Shannon's Technicolor Yawn.......

Redondo Band ; Greenhouse Effect mixtape 2008 LIVE @ Wilson Sept. 1,1990

Redondo Beach's 'the Greenhouse Effect' cut into 'the magic man' as their opening song at Wilson Park's "Fest 3" on September 1, 1990....in Torrance California,..this concert was played before a very drunken and hostile mob of a crowd and it was an uncomfortable situation for ALL OF the bands who played that day but especially G.e. and the ever unpopular Clark Hagins - their unofficial 'leader'...Guitarist Phil Keegan is determined to not be outdone by Hagins nor let the violent crowd get the better of him and he strives to put on a great show cranking his amps to 11 and blazing through top guitar solos and axe work all afternoon long through a tense one hour plus setlist of songs from G.e's three albums; Precarious, Waiting for your love to fail, Little Man, Coke Snortin' Love Boyz, Virus O'Syrus, Wring that neck, Snake,3/4,.....at this show "A Current Affair ' and a couple of other songs are ommitted out...making room for some odd songs among them a reworked version of the Peter Gun theme mixed with the B-52's Rock Lobster.....the angry crowd is hushed for most of the show as they too watch in awe of G.e. but near the end, the mostly Redondo Beach punk throngs take delight in sending their open rage at Hagins...calling him a 'dick' and a 'fucking joto', despite the fact that the show was actually put on 'by' Hagins himself ,..who also paid the 300$ dollars to present the show with the city of Torrance,...needless to say, the city of Torrance never invited Hagins to put on a show again as Cops had to break this thing up and insisted that if he ever wants to throw another event,..,..that next time the price is 600$...Hagins did throw one more show "Fest 4" in June of 1991 with Greg Tarpley on drums for the new reworked three piece G.e. of Going legit and grunge rock of February 1991's BEN IS DEAD TOUR.
