from KUOW's Weekday December 12, 2007
First, a conversation on the week's news in Canada with Vaughn Palmer, political correspondent for the Vancouver Sun. Then, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali is drawing to a close. Were there new ideas on ways to cut greenhouse gas emissions? New York Times Environmental Reporter Andrew C. Revkin has been covering the conference. He joins us with his report. Also joining us today is Kelly Kennedy, a journalist with the Army Times. She was embedded in Adhamiya, Iraq with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment. Kelly Kennedy's four part series, Blood Brothers is a first hand account of the day to day life for the soldiers patrolling Adhamiya.Tomorrow on Weekday: Leftovers and the Holiday Party
