John Hagee, the McCain supporter who said God created Hurricane Katrina to punish New Orleans for its homosexual sins. Well now meet Rev. Rod Parsley, the televangelist megachurch pastor from Ohio who hates Islam. According to David Corn of Mother Jones, Parsley has called on Christians to wage war against Islam, which he considers to be a false religion. In the past, Parsley has also railed against the separation of church and state, homosexuals, and abortion rights, comparing Planned Parenthood to Nazis. John McCain actively sought and received Parsley's endorsement in the presidential race. McCain has called Parsley a spiritual guide, and he hasn't said whether he shares Parsley's vicious anti-Islam views. That's because the mainstream media refuses to ask. And so, we've taken matters into our own hands, joining Mother Jones to present the truth about McCain's pastor. Since the media won't question McCain about his deeply bigoted pastor, it's up to you to call attention to this issue. Make McCain's pastor problem a major story by forwarding this video to your family, friends, and colleagues. Today I lost just about all the respect I had for Senator Barack Obama. My respect for Obama was in the first place limited because of the fact that he's a politician. But until today I was under the impression that he was sort of a different breed of politician. Now I suppose that I may have been under that impression because I may have been fooled by what Obama had been saying about changing politics and ushering in a new era of politics. But in my mind I felt that he was a different breed because he seemed slightly more so a straight-shooter than most if not all politicians I had ever come across. But today I watched the video of Obama "Distancing himself" from the Reverend Wright. Now I'm sure Obama didn't want to sever his relation ship with the Pastor, but it's obvious that Rev. Wright had become to Obama and his campaign, a gangrenous limb and he had to be amputated. Nevertheless I have a certain lack of respect for an individual who is able to stand before you, and with a straight face; just lie straight to your face and lie as if he were a dead dog, knowing full well that you know he's lying. But that's what politicians do. But I had never seen this from Obama on as grand a scale as I saw it today. Was his Earlier denunciation of Rev Wright political posturing? Of course it was. Yet Obama stood there on stage yesterday acting like he was so upset @ Wright for point out that fact. Stood there pretending that that Wright's comments were so offensive. How can you be offended @ the comment made by a man who's speaking truth? Unless you are a fool, which I don't believe Obama is. But Obama did what he needed to do in order to save the life of his presidential hopes. And he's done that.... For the moment. But in my estimation, Obama's political aspirations are on life support. Whereas my respect for him is dead, killed. Assassinated... And Senator Barack Obama is the Assassin.... Whether it's a legitimate political issue or not, someone needs to answer this Wright for the lies and hate he spews from the pulpit. The nerve of this man to say we take him out of context, when his only context is that he profits from hate and as long as he uses his demagoguery to fool his parishioners, and perpetuate the racial divide in this country. As long as his parishioners hate America and think the Whites are their enemy, he can live a comfortable life in his multi-million dollar home.
