It basically means to take care of your "business." It seems so instinctual to blame others for our problems, but really, there is little hope in that! Much easier to pick up the pieces and to change ourselves than to wait around for others to make us happy. That's not to say you can't hold others accountable; indeed that's appropriate. We never know where God will lead us, to those of us who are willing to submit to Him. Spiderman never became Spiderman until he chose to use his gifts and talents to help those who can't help themselves. We have a responsibility to obey our Father in use of our talents and gifts, to witness to those in the world with our words and actions, and to love all of God's creations. Calling yourself a Christian isn't enough. It's how we live that makes us Christians and our willingness to obey the words of Christ. Our current level of consumption is not sustainable. The world's supply of steel, fossil fuels, and elements essential for industrial processes are rapidly being exhausted. If we continue to take all of the privileges we have as 1st-world citizens for granted, we will see them disappear--within our lifetimes. This is a challenge to consider how your individual actions affect the rest of the world.
