(e)BOMBERS describe their instruments as bent in every instance, and if you aren't familiar with the concept, it generally consists of an impulsive operation (or several) on an old electronic noisemaker, producing the aural equivalent of a dying Speak-and-Spell. In their own words: "(e)"pronounces "kakko-e" that means "cool","smart" or "it is groovy" in Japan. Therefore we aimed to do "(e)" performance at this time. For this unique performance, we have enlisted the help of a very unique artist, Shantell Martin (often going by the name shanteru), to provide live illustrations with the group. Shantell will create a spontaneous artwork during the course of the set, which may grow across the walls and into your hair and/or lamb's wool coat if you don't pay attention. Recently joining a number of international events as a visual artist, this is a perfect chance to see why Shantell's work is gaining ground both here in Japan and abroad. This will be a truly singular collaboration, and should not be missed.

Oscar Brown Jr. - Brother Where Are You (Matthew Herbert remix). Taken from 'Verve Remixed II'. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, he was named for his father Oscar Brown, Sr., who was a successful attorney and real estate broker. His singing debut was on the radio show Secret City at age fifteen. Brown attended Englewood High School in Chicago, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Lincoln University (Pennsylvania) but did not obtain a degree. He served a stint in the U.S. Army, officially segregated until 1948, where his views on "race relations" were considered "subversive.". In his youth, he was even a member of the Communist Party, USA, which ultimately also decided Oscar was "too subversive"; he was suspected to be a Black Nationalist. He founded The Oscar Brown, Jr. H.I.P. Legacy Foundation to carry on his work. But his first attempt at mounting a major musical stage show in New York City was "Kicks also known by the anonyms Herbert, Doctor Rockit, Radio Boy, Mr. Vertigo, Transformer, and Wishmountain; is an influential and critically acclaimed British electronic musician. In the mid 90s he traveled to San Francisco, where he met jazz singer Dani Siciliano. The two became collaborators and romantic partners, and eventually married. In 1998, Herbert issued Around the House, which successfully mixed dance beats, sounds generated by everyday kitchen objects, and Siciliano's wry vocals. By the late Nineties, Herbert was remixing tracks for dance artists like Moloko, Motorbass, Alter Ego, and others. (Many of these were later collected on Secondhand Sounds: Herbert Remixes.) He also recorded singles, EPs, and albums under a variety of aliases (Doctor Rockit, Radio Boy, Mr. Vertigo, and Transformer) as well as his own name. On May 30 2006, Herbert issued Scale, his most successful album to date. In the U.S., it reached number 20 on Billboard's electronic music album chart. Matthew Herbert has produced remixes for numerous artists, including Moloko, R.E.M., Perry Farrell, Serge Gainsbourg, Yoko Ono, John Cale, The Avalanches and Cornelius. He programmed three tracks on Björk's Vespertine, and produced Moloko singer Róisín Murphy's album Ruby Blue. He has contributed music to several films, including Human Traffic and Dogme 95 director Kristian Levring's The Intended, Agathe Clery, Le Defi, as well as UK television, theatrical and concert dance productions. Oscar Brown, Jr (October 10, 1926 -- May 29, 2005) was a singer, songwriter, playwright, poet, and civil rights activist. He ran for office in the Illinois state legislature and U.S. Congress, both unsuccessfully. ---------------- Verve Remixed is a series of albums released by Verve Records centered on the concept of classic Verve tracks, remixed by contemporary electronic music producers and DJs. Informed not too long ago DragonKenji had told me The Flash received an update at some point and has became The Flash Remix. He lended me a copy so...... I can't exactly give an exact link to The Flash Remix buit it barely matters anyways. Even after an update he's sitll not too much different nor any less cheap. Speaking of which The Flash Remix is as cheap as he ever always has been... No real balance fixes at all. He still has ugly CLSN2s for his melee spamming flurry punches and Flashing Blade, which are oversized and have infinite attack priority let alone have almost instantaneous recovery time. He still spams tornados and Supers to death from afar and his AI proves no different and still spams like a cheesehead. His conbos are still broken and ovewrpowered as hell, too, and he still has ridiculously unfair speed (I don't care if he is The Flash.... Accuracey can kill balance a lot of he times when tooken too seriously). Wat any actual change I see is some extra voices mixed into his original voicepack (yes, you get to hear two voices, yipeee!), sprites have been made more clearer, new Super backgrounds, 10 extra Defense and Attack opposed from his old 90 in terms of both stats, and well.... Not much else at all. Because I am using The Flash Remix here I will be using the new Sayuri by 586 as well as the Christmas update Haruhi as rematch battles against Mr. Flashy Pants... Also even Ayu gets a shot at this bozo.
