Christopher Cheboiboch has finished 2nd - twice - on the largest stage in marathoning. First in Boston 2002 and then again in New York 2002. He's a verteran of 26.2 miles with a renewed fire for competition. After his runner-up performances in New York and Boston, he used his earnings to open a primary school near his home in Iten, Kenya - the Salaba Academy. He also bought the gas station in Iten, which still works with hand pumps. Christopher is hoping for a fast race because he wants to set his personal best. If all goes well, perhaps he'll find himself back on the podium again.
