Most men love their mothers. A few actually hate their mothers. Talking to a bunch of young LGBT youth (15-18), I just let it all hang out & explained the complicated feelings I have regarding my genuinely hateful (but perhaps ultimately lovable) mother. Aren't all our relationships with our parents "bipolar" (a mixture of love/hate emotions)? This is my politically-incorrect "Mother's Day Card" to my own Mother & others out there struggling with conflicted emotions regarding their own Mother.
