http://www.titanhitours.co.uk/holiday-itinerary.asp?pc=BRZYour fourteen day The Best of Brazil- from Rio to the Rainforest tour begins with Titan's VIP Home Departure Service® to London Heathrow, where our airport representatives and official Skycap Porters will assist you with check in for your flight to Rio de Janeiro.Rio is a marvellous and expansive city, where 17th century churches rub shoulders with modern skyscrapers. Following our morning arrival in this vibrant samba city we take a half-day tour to familiarise you with the many sights, including a memorable journey to the top of the majestic Corcovado Mountain. Here we can view the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer, a true symbol of this enticing city.On the third day you have free time to make your own discoveries in Rio. Take a stroll along the famous Copacabana beach or join an optional trip to the top of Sugerloaf Mountain, by way of cable car. As evening approaches there is the opportunity to take an optional Rio by night excursion, including dinner at a traditional churrascaria restaurant and a mesmerising folklore and carnival show. Leaving Rio de Janeiro behind, we fly to Iguacu for a chance to witness the awe-inspiring power of the Iguacu Falls. Situated at the junction between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, this impressive sight is a combination of over 270 separate falls. On arrival we travel to the Argentinean side for a close up view. After plentiful time to indulge in a perfect photo opportunity we cross back into Brazil and transfer to our hotel for the next two nights. On the 5th day of our tour we take further time to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views on the Brazilian side of the falls. We enjoy a walking tour along the many walkways and footbridges, affording excellent vistas. The remainder of your day is at leisure. Dont miss the chance to take a fantastic optional helicopter ride above the falls, subject to weather conditions, for a truly unforgettable experience. The next day we fly via Sao Paulo to Manaus and continue by boat to our accommodation, set in the spectacular Amazon Rainforest. Throughout our three night stay, we have a full program of excursions, making the most of our amazing surroundings. We take an exciting jungle walking tour and travel by boat for a reconnaissance tour. A fishing trip is also available as is unique after dark alligator spotting. We also have the chance to meet the native Amazon people to learn about their way of life and view the intriguing meeting of the waters. After our magnificent stay in the Amazon, we retrace our steps by boat back to Manaus and transfer to the airport for our flight to the capital city of Brasilia. Inaugurated in 1960, Brasilia was built from scratch within less than five years and today stands proud as an icon for modern urban planning. During our overnight stay we take a city tour, before transferring to the airport for our flight to Salvador, in the state of Bahia.Salvador and the state in which it is contained, takes much of its cultural and historical influence from the legacy of the 16th century African slave trade. On the 11th day of our tour we transfer to the UNESCO protected historical centre of the city of Salvador. Here we view the fine examples of baroque style churches and colourful buildings and experience the Afro-Brazilian customs and traditions. This afternoon we return to our hotel for some free time. We indulge in a free day in delightful Salvador to relax on the beach and enjoy our hotels facilities. Alternatively, take a full day optional trip to Cachoeira to view the wonderful colonial architecture and visit a local tobacco factory. As our fabulous tour draws to a close we travel to Salvador airport for our flight to Sao Paulo and our connecting flight to London Heathrow. On arrival our staff will escort you to your Titan transport, waiting to take you home. Thanks for watching. For more travel videos from Titan HiTours please visit http://www.titanhitours.co.uk
