This was the second to last performance in their North American tour and as you can tell by the reactions of the crowd, everyone absolutely loved their performance (especially the annoying Boston idiots you hear shouting profanities in the video, and for that, I apologize). The event was the curtain-raiser to this year's Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. 90 aircraft flew over RAF Fairford to mark the 90th Anniversary of the Air Force. The flypast was watched by the Queen, who presented new colours to the RAF The only formation bigger than this was the flypast marking the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, in 1990, when 168 aircraft flew over Buckingham Palace. Whilst out taking a ween run in the car, we were stopped at flashing lights, i thought it was a railway crossing, but when we heard the screaming of an aircraft i realised we were at the end of the runway. This poor pilot (Like many i guess) was being made to land, slow down then take off again without stopping, we watched 6 times before we got bored. The approach was interesting, very noisy as the plane screamed above down into the bushes to the runway. The smell of the aircraft fumes was apparent, anyone staying at the caravan park nearby for any extended periods must not be amused when leaving, because they probably leave by ambulance en route to the Raigmore Inverness. Photos taken and cropped. Video was from the digital camera so sorry for the shakes and quality, same with music as it wasnt relevant but nice all the same!
