Moby / Nellie McKay eTown plays host to a couple of amazing New York city based artists for this week’s show/podcast. Moby is world-renowned as a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, DJ, and electronica superstar. Along with guest vocalist Kelly Scarr, Moby treats the audience to a pensive set of stripped down, acoustic versions of his material. Then, Nellie McKay makes a return visit to eTown. She is SO talented and quirky in the very best of ways that we had to have her back to share some tunes from her latest release: cover songs of Doris Day! Nick Helen Forster and the ETones back her up, too. And in keeping with the NYC theme, there’s a wonderful E-Chievement Award winner from New York City who shares his story, too. There was no real master plan behind this week's Bleep. Which is really how most week's are I guess. I did grab records from 'opposite ends of the shelves' this week.
