Seventeen motorcyclists were taken to hospital after they collided during a race on Weston-super-Mare beach. Spectator Anthony Norton took this video of the crash, which happened on Sunday at the Somerset event, that had attracted about 100,000 spectators. It was subsequently cancelled. Two of the riders were seriously hurt and taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol for treatment.
