The presentation provided an overview of the Open.Michigan initiative and describe the benefits of publishing learning materials as Open Educational Resources (OER) for faculty and researchers. Topics covered included: Disseminating educational materials to educators, physicians, clinicians, students, and self-learners throughout the world, free of charge. Enabling global access to health science education materials: lectures, labs, and other course curricula. Improving health education and health care delivery within the University, the State of Michigan, and worldwide.
