Paul Mancuso is a long-time Michelob brewer who has retained the passion for creating flavorful beers. He joins Gary today in the second part of a report from the 2009 Atlantic City Beer Festival. We're going to be watching for the possible release of new flavors from the company. Judging from the public's reaction, we're not the only ones.

It's the opening of the Atlantic City Beer Festival and we talk Nate Scudieri, Brand Manager of Michelob Brewing Company. Nate tells us about some exciting new flavors being created at the brand. Our take? We loved what we tasted!

All of us here at "Still Crazy..." can relate to that! We've had trouble staying on center at times! Actually, the title of the show is the slogan used by the people at Dogfish Head, the unique Delaware-based brewery that is making a name for itself worldwide. After all, the brewers there never met an ingredient they didn't like. Wendy Domurat of Dogfish Head joins us and describes one of the most unusual beers on the market, Midas Touch, truly a hybrid. It's based on years of research coming from an analysis of the food and drink served at the funeral of King Midas. After trying some, we felt like we had the golden touch.

Two award-winners are welcomed into the "Still Crazy" family as Brian O'Reilly, head brewer of Sly Fox Beers, and writer Lew Bryson join Gary Monterosso this week. O'Reilly was once described by Gary as "the best young brewer in the Mid-Atlantic region." Bryson is portrayed as a "man whom you hear long before you see" because of his hearty laugh. Both have made beer more enjoyable.

Familiar places and familiar faces. This week we wrap up our coverage of the High Street Grille Winter Beer Festival with friend of the show, Steve Gates. This week we try the Captain's Reserve Double IPA & Smoked Porter of Captain Lawrence, a new face to the beer scene out of Pleasantville, NY. Founded in 2005, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company offers many varieties influenced by Belgian Ales. Once only available on tap, the Captain will now be available by the bottle...coming soon to a refrigerated case near you!

This week we continue our coverage of the High Street Grille Winter Beer Festival with a taste of California! First we'll visit with Dennis Flynn of the famous Stone Brewing Company, headquartered in Escondido, CA. and get a brief history of the company. Stone is best known for their over the top ales including Aggressive Arrogant Bastard Ale. Next we visit with Trevor Jankowski of the popular Lagunitas Brewing Company from Pentaluma, CA. We'll discuss their amazing winter release Brown Shugga, the ever popular Maximus and the influence California has on both brands.

Asahi Breweries make the most popular beer there and it's making a splash around the rest of the world. We get the lowdown from the company's Yoshiaki "Yoshi" Okahara. Kampai! (We think that means "Cheers!")

Who could forget our chat with Alan Newman, founder of Magic Hat Brewery in Vermont? We've always enjoyed his flagship beer, No. 9, but there are others in their lineup just as tasty. Tim Harrell, formerly the "Drummer of Ales and Odd Notions," now titled the "Alebassador" gives us an update on what's developing.
