The Pritzker Military Library opened to the public in 2003, but it began many years ago with a family and its books. This video premiered at the 2008 PML Liberty Gala on October 4, 2008.

Allan R. Millett is the second recipient of the Pritzker Military Library Literature Award for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing. His major works include "The War for Korea, 1945-1950: A House Burning" and "A War To Be Won: Fighting The Second World War". This video premiered at the 2008 PML Liberty Gala on October 4, 2008.
