http://www.mmaevolved.com My review on Elite XC on CBS this past weekend and whether or not this Elite XC show has put MMA / mixed martial arts back 10 years with the quality of the card that was put on. Also the possibility of a Ban on Mixed Martial Arts. MMA /mixed martial arts has been dominated by the ufc / Ultimate Fighting Championship since its inception, with only slight competition from PRIDE. But today we see competition coming from Elite XC and MMA / Mixed martial arts may be in danger of being put back several years with the main carding of Kimbo Slice. Elite XC may have a good chance of becoming a premier MMA organization, but with MMA / Mixed Martial arts cards like the one they just put on, Elite XC may be a long ways off being a serious threat to the UFC I think the overall effect of this Elite XC card is actually a negative one.
