In this video Adam shows the proper technique of how to rinse your wheels after you have prepared them. (Transcription) ------------------- If you don't have a pressure washer at home, I highly recommend a fire hose nozzle. This little unit turns your hose into a fire hose its a very very excellent tool, easy to use. Now I'm gonna rinse the wheel first making sure not to get the rest of the paint. I'm rinsing the wheel because I want to get the all purpose cleaner off of that first, then I'll do the wheel well. That looks fantastic. Also I'm gonna take the brush and rinse it out. Adam explains the difference and how to clean the tires on an SUV instead of a sports car. (Transcription) --------------------- Using our all purpose cleaner on the wheels and tires of the SUV is a slightly different experience than doing the Ferrari. Not nearly as worried about getting it on the wheels, and I'm gonna blast the heck out of the tires, you notice how much more I'm using. Tires first, wheel wells, and then wheels. Of course I have a lot more room now to get underneath the wheel well and really scrub all the dirt and junk of the inside of this wheel well. Then hit the tire real good. You also have to options on the wheels like this. These are clear coated factory wheels, they're not gonna scratch nearly as easily as the nice wheels on the Ferrari, however if you want to use the nice boar's hair brush on them, you can. (Transcription) --------------------------------- Hi, I'm Adam Pitale and I'm the Founder & Chief Detailer here at Adams Polishes.Its important to realize that detailing products must be excellent. Also its very important to realize that the system that your use is as important as the product that your using. Thats why we're here today to film this dvd and we're gonna go ahead and do a complete detail on 2 vehicles. Now the reason 2 vehicles this Ferrari has a lot of surfaces that you'll only find on a luxury car, a Corvette, a Porsche a Lexus a BMW. And then we also have a late model suburban. Its a family car, its been beat up and its a little bit more thrashed and your gonna find a whole different set of surfaces on that vehicle. What we're gonna do is go through and show you the best ways to care for every possible surface on any vehicle that your driving and any vehicle that your gonna detail. I'm gonna start by detailing the wheels and tires on the Ferrari as its imperative that we start doing everything possible to not put water on the car until absolutely necessary and thats because water spots are a bummer and we don't want to have them and if theres anything we can do to stop them we're gonna do it.
