Of course nothings free,the movement of the hand and the magnetic field is whats causing this to rotate,mind you if you got creative you could get the same effect automatically by say putting the magnet on a spring and making it vibrate perhaps. Now this one is a bit of a trick,it moves theoretically only because your hand is moving even when it is ever so slightly,to the point of not noticing the movement. But that's not so bad,you could rig it up to move once in awhile on its own with the help of the wind or sometihng,guess it would be a wind generator then technically right? n Well anyway I'm not sure all I can definitively say is it looks awesome and I'm going to make one!
