Eva Amaral y Juan Aguirre acaban de finiquitar dos años de gira de forma triunfal, con cinco noches de lleno en el Circo Price madrileño. Pero el trabajo sigue y, en pocos días, Amaral embarcarán con destino Cono Sur para actuar en Argentina y Chile. Luego, vuelta a casa, maleta nueva y primeras incursiones europeas. One of the most important film events of the year is happening this weekend in Atlanta it s The International Black Man Film Festival. Martin, Richard Pennington, D-Roc, Yemi Toure. A film about the pant sagging phenom and one of the ways Atlanta is trying to combat it. We hear from those who are outraged, and from those who are outraged that some others are outraged. Documentary 25 mins Saggin in The ATL is all about the Black Male Point of View on the saggin phenomenon.  it s filmed and produced by Black Men, in hopes that the rest of us will finally understand the myraid of emotions which surround this issue. I had a chance to sit down with one of the Producers of the Film and the Head of the Festival my friend Yemi Toure . Knowing Brother Yemi is a great patron of  the arts and one of my favorite sociologists;  I ask the real questions and Brother Yemi puts it on the table. He lets us pick it up, because we all own a part of it; regardless of what we think, we do.  Even I had to stand corrected and gladly so.  this short pod is quite enlightening on the entire situation around Saggin. Take a moment and listen to 5 minutes on why the future is walking around us everyday; and what we need to do to relate to it, now. Ramón Rodríguez, The New Raemon, es un viejo camarada. Por eso, siempre estamos contentos de recibirle a la sombra del cocotero. Y si viene con un disco como "La dimensión desconocida" –su recién estrenado trabajo–, pues más contentos incluso, porque no nos cabe duda de que ésta es, por el momento, su mejor colección de canciones. Cualquiera que vea a los vallisoletanos Arizona Baby en directo –nosotros lo hicimos, muy de cerca, gracias a las dos Achique Session de este programa– se dará cuenta de que el formato acústico no rebaja la intensidad de sus descargas. A Javi, Rubén y Marcos les gusta el folk, el rock, el blues y otros géneros tradicionales norteamericanos, pero salpimentan su propuesta con guiños al misticismo de la vieja Castilla y se benefician de una envidiable destreza instrumental. Hacía tiempo que queríamos traer a Lex Makoto a La Isla, pero el lanzamiento de "Rojo • Calor • Fuego", su primer larga duración, se ha ido aplazando hasta ahora, así que tuvimos que esperar. Sin problema, porque el encuentro con Manu y Alex –cincuenta por ciento del grupo madrileño– fue bien divertido y la mar de agradable. Lo mismo que sus canciones, efectivas muestras de rockin'-punk melódico con descaradas letras en castellano, defendidas con la mejor de las actitudes.
