Every year, National Geographic Magazine takes Photocamp to several places all around the US and the world. NG photographers and editors bring photography to the lives of kids and teenagers from these communities. In July, 2007, New York Photocamp was realized in Jackson Heights, Queens, with students from Newcomers High School, a NYC Public High-School that only accepts students who have lived in the US for less than one year. Photographer Ed Kashi was there. Check out the video.

In July, 2007, New York Photocamp was realized in Jackson Heights, Queens, with students from Newcomers High School, a NYC Public High School that only accepts students that have lived in the US for less than one year.
