The difference between good glass and great glass, is, well, quite glaring. I recently had a chance to work with both in the same conditions. I was on the tennis courts at Stanford University in Northern California for the Bank of the West Classic. I started the day shooting with kit lenses that come with the impressive Olympus E-520. This was a short production animation made for a film company that I hope to start with my brother in the near future 'Lucid Films'. The logo is based on a painting I did of an eye that has the univers with in it. Which is what lucid dreams create for the dreamer a world where you can do anything. This was an entry into a short film competition that was about stopping drug and alcohol abuse. It is about a gentlemen who has taken his journey with drugs and alcohol too far and has lost his mind the only way out is to end his life. Very surreal and thrilling, I wrote, acted in, filmed and edited this picture including making the music for it.

This film was created for a friends Drama project. Bit of fun for all involved, the film was created as a music video for a song by 'The Red Hot Chilli Peppers'. See if you can spot the tribute shot to 'Vertigo' by Alfred Hitchcock.

The Newseum Opens on April 11 in Washington, DC Take a "Tour" Through the World's Most Interactive Museum The Newseum, the world's most interactive museum, will open its new $450 million, seven-level museum in the nation's capital on Friday, April 11. Visitors will be transported through time - from the before the dawn of the age of the printed word to the cutting edge of the digital age through an unparalleled blend of artifacts, photography, exhibits, films and interactive experiences. In 250,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Newseum will offer visitors 15 theaters, 14 major galleries, two state-of-the-art broadcast studios and a 4-D time-travel experience. The building features a glass-fronted "window on the world" facing Pennsylvania Avenue and a 74-foot-high, 50-ton marble tablet emblazoned with the 45 words of the First Amendment. And, the 90-foot-high atrium features a 40-by-22-foot high-definition media screen where breaking news, historic news events and documentaries will be shown.
