I KNEW SHIT LIKE THAT,..thats why i have always strived to help others...other bands n shit.. - AND NO ONE FUCKING LIFTS A FINGER TO HELP ME !! ...or people like me,..out there in the world - there is a shit load of alot of wasted talent out there,..and we got all these fuckers sittin' around drinkin' beers and watchin' football an' shit,...MAN, FUCK THAT SHIT; QUIT WATCHING OTHERS,..AND LEARN TO GO BE CREATIVE YOURSELF !!....instead of wasting your time,..putting down people who really 'are' good !!NO ONE LIFTS A FINGER TO HELP ME ! What fucking good would it do ..even 'if' i was 23 years old now instead of 43,..no ones gonna care anyway !! I recorded ALL THE FUCKING INSTRUMENTS ON NOT ONE BUT TWO WHOLE CD'S OF MUSIC,..and its the best fucking shit that there is - and yet; NO ONE CARES,....- ITS JUST LIKE THAT MOVIE 'A BRONX TALE; - NO ONE CARES !!...some have asked me why i don't bother to throw my heart into recording new shit now,..because i 'know' its gonna be the same old shit anyway,..no ones gonna support it,..only strangers who i don't know will buy it,...nahh,..i'm gonna get 'my immediate people around me' to fucking 'admit' i'm good,..before i'm fucking done !! and when they say 'we were wrong' i'm gonna say 'what...what- i can't fucking hear you,...whuddya mean you were wrong ???" 'My shit is special music,..no we're not just another run of the fucking mill,..so don't give me that shit either!!"" I shouldn't be a fucking pool cleaner,..i 'know' that,...I SHOULDN'T BE A FUCKING POOL CLEANER"So what does "Mr. South Bay" feel about the theory that "he is only 'this good' because of the way people treated him? "I think thats a fucking piece of shit!" says Higgins "being mean to people doesn't necessarily make them stronger or 'better' like this is the frickin' US MARINES or somethin' like that,..probobly if people had been cooler and more respectful and supportive,...i would never even have been a musician 'or' a pool guy or lawn mower or any of that shit !,...i'd be like some frickin' attorney make a zillion dollars a year or a CEO or some shit like that!!"yeah,..looking back at it all,..it is quite a paradox indeed,..people try to say 'i was meant' to be this,....well, maybe,...but i would recommend to people to try to teach their children well and treat them with dignity,...and who knows,..they just may turn out to be something 'better' than a musician,..I just think about great people like Bill Krodel who were the rare few who were supportive of me,...maybe someone like Scott Combs,...but thats about it !!...its just broken me to pieces to think that Billy died....."i rock for all the 'little' people out there" says Higgins "they have no voice"

So i have to constantly blog and come up with new shit, ...me and Jimmyforce,..that heavy metal guy from Newport Calif. and Jeff Snowe my former band manager at Rock City Productions back in Massachusetts..,..we shoot the shit and we come up with clever writing ideas for blogs where i can also sell shit with affiliate links,....my former Lawyer Dr. Steven Hoovernton chimes in with important ideas,..we have to be psychological,..we have to get into people's brains with penetration because we keep the listener interested and we 'hook' them on our music and the background story of G.e. and shit....."Our music is important to millions of people now,..it has to be good"...Higgins turns somewhat downcast when the talk of any G.e. 'comeback' is ever mentioned,.."Well,..we are from a long time ago - thats the 'reality',...theres been some chatter,..mainly between me and former drummer Greg Tarpley via our Myspaces,..it sounds interesting and intrigueing,...he wants me to cruise on up to Long Beach or Gardena or where-ever.. and we throw around old hit ideas like 'Ben is dead" and all that crap from 'Going Legit"....it sounds fun,..maybe play a show...then theres also been serious talks on the phone between me and drummer Martin Silva,...but ofcourse the 'early phase' of G.e. that is so important involving Phil Keegan on guitar and me on drums,..me and Flipper have had our chats about revving that up ,..only problem is - is he is way up in San Jose Calif....When he's asked if he has ever met Tila Tequila, Higgins laughs; "Yes,...she was in Carlsbad at Bed Bath and Beyond and I was cleaning the fountain for pennies,..it was totally funny,..this was a while back before she really hit the big time on Mtv,..but she was HUGE on the internet ofcourse then.. ..and I was like "Hey Tila,...i'm Clark the Shark from Greenhouse effect !" and she was like "I fuckin' know you - yer that asshole that is always advertising in my comments!!" ,..luckily for me she had a big smile on her face and she was laughing saying "well more power to ya!!"..."I have to say though that it really is true that G.e. got a big start and a huge boost from the Tila Tequila Myspace,...over the summer of like 2006 and before,..i was always there puttin up shit in her comments,..but it really worked,..those are the 'early days' that just launched G.e. partially atleast to a lot of success at being seen and where we are now,...2008 was an awesome year for us,..and i credit a lot of it to Tila Tequila's Myspace site! She gave me like a huge hugg ,..but damn - no kiss !! I did get her autograph though,...(Laughs)..recently I tried to sell it when i was losing my house (Laughs)...As one of those "Internet Celebrities' Higgins is recognized often as he cleans his swimming pools in San Diego's North County; "Yeah,...theres hard working net whores out there,..some have hit it big like Tila and Perez Hilton and some have fought to get places like Smosh, Jeffery Star, and Lisa Nova and Happy Slip,....i really like that one chick that does the make up on Meta Cafe ; she is rad !!" gushed Higgins...I mean People know I am probobly seen way more in reality than everyone else,...they all got phoney bots and shit...i thought about using a bot for my youtube because traffic just sucks there and it makes me look bad.... The South Bay has a rock n roll secret ,...but its a secret no more ! The Cats outta' the bag - as in felix the cat !! like that angry lookin' kitty cat on the front of drummer Greg Tarpley's Kick drum at the Hermosa Saloon Video thats all over the Google internet Universe showing the August 16, 1991 Performance of BEN IS DEAD, STAR, and WAITING FOR YOUR LOVE TO FAIL! WELL,...the band is Greenhouse Effect,..and these 'fathers of grunge' have grown to be one of the most world wide viewed bands on the internet !! WAS IT NIRVANA AND KURT COBAIN or was it THE NOW FAMOUS CLARK THE SHARK HAGINS and his three pieced flannel wearing muddy grungey rockers the Greenhouse Effect ??An internet debate and battle has ensued; Clark the Shark has his throngs of loyal supporters back in the South bay who sware and know all too well that they feel 'the genius profit' or 'Swami' Clark the Shark's seen it all - HE WAS HERE FIRST....!! (Some also refer to Shark as "The President")IN SEATTLE, THEY MAY TELL a different story but.,..facts remain....1; Both bands started right about 1985/ 86' era circa2; Both bands contained 'suffering' band members from miserable homes3; both bands sported flannels and torn jeans and 'levi's cut offs"4; BOTH BANDS were into 'indie rock' albeit; the stooges,pixies, mc5, the who, Black Sabbath, iggy pop, and David Bowie5; BOTH BANDS wrote myopicly weird lyrics that seemed to make no sense and often with 'suicidal' themes in them and could appear 'angry'6; BOTH BANDS WERE into screaming into the mic and flipside magazine and yet punk rock too7; BOTH BANDS WERE THREE PIECE with a 'angry' weird 'front man' who seemed to be the story teller leader8; both bands contained 'unpopular' people in the band who were picked on and ridiculed ,..particulary Hagins9; Both bands played Peavey amps10; BOTH BANDS mailed tapes to sst and sub pop, geffen and Capital whilst still in the bud stage of 1987 and 88'11; BOTH BANDS smashed their gear onstage12; BOTH BANDS WERE HEAVILY INTO Neil Young and Creedence Clearwater (hence the flannels)13; BOTH BANDS WOULD BOAST AND BRAG TO ANY AROUND THEM - that they had a 'genius idea' that was gonna 'change all of rock' and 'destroy glam 80's heavy metal'14; BOTH BANDS had 'experimental' guys who had 'own home 'studios' where they BOTH did things like rip holes into speakers and record them to achieve a very distorted 'grunge' sound15;BOTH BANDS WERE HEAVY INTO RECREATIONAL DRUG USE...although Hagins mainly stuck to alcohol and seldom touched hard drugs where-as Cobain mainly stuck to drugs and 'never touched' alcohol....16; While Hagins wrote the song 'addicted' in Playa del rey in August of 1992, cobain was doing drug rehab in Marina Del Rey literally less than half a mile from hagins and unbeknownst to hagins at the time !..and theres moreToday, Hagins continues a mantra he has never stopped from back in the days of G.e. He maintains that as early as 1987 and 88' , he feels Major record Labels - particularly Capital and Geffen 'lifted' some of his brilliant concepts for a "cream Jamesgang but alternative" styled 3 piece band...when G.e. was red hot on the scene ,..and long before Nirvana imagined being on a major,....Hagins (and,..with some back up in the South Bay) maintains that Geffen Records 'designed' the philosphy and concept of Nirvana from Hagins' own ideas with Greenhouse Effect (Note; Nirvana 'did' have plenty of good ideas of their own and Hagins will attest to this).........You watch all the videos and YOU COMPARE THE TWO BANDS,...AND AFTER A WHILE SEE if you can tell who is who !!!!!!!!!!!!Oh one more fact.....The two A hAGINS sent material to Gary Gersh as early as 1988 and Gershe's assistant Craig Aaronson would later 'contact' Hagins in 1990 !! and AGAIN IN EARLY 1991 !! - FEBRUARY !! ,..Nothing seemed to come from it..for a seemingly 'frustrated' Hagins who gave up on Aaronson,...UNTIL THAT IS - THE DAY OF SEPTEMBER 24, 1991 when Hagins observed Nirvana on Mtv and kroq radio ,...and he delivered an agnry phone call to Aaronson !!Has a sinister music industry foil gone down here ?? or is Hagins simply just another unlucky rock n roll story that lacked the talent and vision to really make it to the top ?? You be the judge ,...millions of others are as well !!One More Fact; Nirvana Lawyer and Gold Mountain Entertainment attorney Danny Goldberg also received 'requested' promotional material re; G.e. from Hagins as far back as 1988 and 89'... So the question is posed to Hagins; "Are you a fan of Nirvana at all - do you like their music??"Hagins; Back at that time, I just thought they were at first just another 'one of those lame indie bands that the majors would ocaisionally push on us all.....but over time i came to really like their music and despite my anger ,..i actually became a 'fan' as i realised they were awesome and i wrote several letters to that address in their cd in Washington State....BUT THEY WILL NEVER BE ANYWHERE AS GOOD AS ME - THEY'LL NEVER BE G.E. - AND WHERE-EVER KURT'S SPIRIT DWELLS in this universe; HE 'KNOWS' IT !!...and i hope for all eternity he will be tortured by Satan with it !! - nahh just kidding !!

Redondo Beach Music (Los Angeles Ca.)22nd Street. - Greenhouse effect and clark hagins music is easily recognizable as it doesn't sound like any other music. Unique to the bitter end, Hagins is a leader - never a follower and now radio is catching on ,..indie radios and even some mainstream ones are picking up the sound of Torrance California's Greenhouse effect. This is not another South Bay tried and true run of the mill blues or punk band....this is not another typical em or alternative band either that you might hear and be sick of at kroq or 91 x. - Greenhouse Effect are a whole new sound with great guitar playing from Clark Hagins, the new 2008 album is RE-EDUCATION with some 43 new songs ,...down is san diego's north county, Hagins and pro surfer hagan kelley on drums work on their new material,..and its sounding great !!Says Hagins; "When we jam at Goblin studios in vista, it just sounds incredible, me and hagan we know that we gotta play the old songs 'Brandy' and 'So much better' but about 4 of the brand new songs are incredible ! We are sounding tight and as great as ever,..i look forward to some gigs soon and Hagan Kelley works with Super Surf Boards in Cardiff Encinitas, ..hopefully he can get our new songs into some shows and to the right people down here in San Diego North County....." i know that the band was amazing way back in the day and how we invented so much,...its great now to see me getting some credit and validity - i don't like all the praise and worshop idol stuff,..because i am not that - i don't consider myself a guru or a south bay guru...i leave all that shit to people up there who still jam in the scene -old guys like me,...the thing about me is i look young, i am 43 but people think i'm 27 still,..i gotta grow a beard to look a little older !! - laughs ....
