Allright, you've all been able to see my shiny pokémon in the video about my shiy pokémon collection, and there I've mentioned chaining with the pokéradar, so how does that work? That's what this video is about. First you'll need hundreds of max repels (no joke), a pokéradar set on the Y button and a pokémon with the Ability Synchronize as your first pokémon with the nature you want the shinies to be to get a 52% chance of getting that nature, so catching multiple shinies is highly recommended. I'll tell the rest in the middle of the video through annotiations, so you know exactly what's important. In this particular case I'm going for a Modest shiny Lunatone, please note you'll need pokémon Sapphire in the GBA slot of your DS in order to be able to meet a Lunatone in the first place. I knew I couldn't take them at the levels my Pokemon were at, since I documented each move of the Elite Four in my Walkthrough and knew that Lucian would destroy me in the end thanks to his Bronzong (or I would get PP-owned), but I wanted to try anyway. Just because. So rather than just let it slide or post some summary, I wanted to make some sort of EPIC trailer-esque video to go along with it, because that's just how I roll. Does I gets +9001 VIDEO EDITOR WIN points for using Requiem for a Dream?! Haha ha. Sorry, I couldn't resist. It almost adds to the irony. Yep. But a bit of good news: I do have every video recorded all the way to the end of the Elite Four, including... you know who. And the ending. Yep, it's done, finally, so this is just a teaser for you to salivate over and wonder how the heck I'm going to pull it off. So you'll all know, I used this exact same team at Level 50 to pull off the win, and training videos (kinda boring, but gives good ideas of where to train... and there's music) will be posted tomorrow. I personally LOVE a challenge, and sure, I could just grind and level them all up to level 65 or something, but that wouldn't be any fun. ): Anyway, enjoy the epic teaser trailer summary thing. I don't even know what you'd call this other than mildly disappointing. (And don't just assume that I'm not good because I LOST to the Elite Four, lol. I just wanted to challenge myself, have some fun, and then make a cool video out of my failed attempt. Nothing wrong with that, hmmm?) Read FAQ before commenting. Q: What the hell is this? We wanna see Wi-Fi battles! A: This is pretty much a teaser vid, showing off some of the new recent add ons to my team. This isn't a complete list, since I have a few other guys that I want to keep underwraps. Q: So, does that mean that you'll be making a comeback? Are there going to be new battles coming soon? A: Yes and No. I've been planning a comeback, but I don't want to do DS Wi-Fi battles anymore. I'm sick of using forum sites to find battles. Everybody disconnects, or complains when they lose. If i wanted to deal with massive egos and excessive bitching, I'd get back with my ex-girlfriend. At least I'd get laid in the process there. *pause for lulz* Q: Then how do you plan to work around that? A: Instead, I'd prefer to start posting PBR Random battles. It's much easier to find an opponent, and you don't need to worry about any complaining from opponents. Plus, I'm starting to dig the "Choose 3 from a team of 6" format that these random matches promote. It adds another level of depth to this already complex game. Q: Boxers or Briefs? A: Neither. Q: So what the hell are you waiting for? Post some battles up! We wanna see that Roserade kick ass! A: That's the problem, I don't have a reliable way to record battles from my TV. I can't seem to find a frugally priced object that I could hook my TV up to for better quality vids. So far, the cheapest thing I've found costs around 70 bucks. Screw that, I'm not made of money. Find me something cheap and effective for TV recording and I'll start posting like crazy. That's what's holding me back. And by the way... no, I'm not going to point my webcam at my TV. Why? Because that's fucking stupid. My battles are blurry enough already. Q: If it works out for you, you're not gonna post Brawl vids are you? A: Hell no. I think Brawl is an excellent game. Get some friends and find some characters you like and it's a blast. But watching brawls is a bit boring, it's not like Pokemon when it's like you're watching a good game of Chess. I'm aware with the high level of depth in that game, and you're welcome to argue with me about it, but that's my own opinion. Q: Who's your favorite wrestler of all time? A; Lance Storm, but this is getting too long and too off topic. Help me find a cheap way to record off a TV.
