The herds were again drinking at Chekwa pan at midday. As usual the bulls were dominating the fresh water while the cows restlessly waited their turn. Suddenly the elephants stampeded out the water. Something had spooked them. This had the herd uneasy amongst each other. Eventually calm returned.
