Back for another visit, Jackie Barrett talks to me about her new Biography channel show, her work with Damien of the "Memphis Three" who is on death row for murder after being charged with no supporting evidence, and my usual ADHD run on rant that snowballed into a gigglefest with my guest. The Palm Pre has been marketed in part on its media playing capabilities and its ability to sync with iTunes. If you stay one version behind on the iTunes update cycle, that's true. However, Apple seems to be actively trying to make sure iTunes syncing doesn't work on the Palm Pre. With each iTunes update you install, you run the risk of disabling syncing from the Palm Pre to iTunes and vice-versa.

In this video, I share my thoughts on the possible ramifications of Palm's decision to limit productivity of their newest smartphone, the Pre. I've never liked the concept of limiting inventory for the sake of artificial demand (I'm looking at you Nintendo) and I'm seeing similar behavior from Palm. It's still early, and I don't have proof, but I have a gut feeling this may not be a good thing for Palm. Check out the video for more on the topic.
