Singing hopefuls from all walks of life transform themselves from singing in the shower to performing opera on stage in the first season of Bathroom Divas: So You Want To Be An Opera Star? After a cross-country search for raw operatic talent, six finalists are hand-picked to participate in an extensive opera boot camp and one of the protégés ultimately wins the title of Bathroom Diva. In Episode 5, celebrity soprano Measha Brueggergosman makes an appearance and takes the three remaining divas wardrobe shopping for their final vote-off performance. Each of the divas sings their hearts out for guest judges, Yves Abel conductor and Catherine Robbin mezzo soprano, at the historic Elgin Theatre in Toronto.
