Based on a recommendation by Orca Island Cabins, Scott heads out to sea with Semaka Charters on a hunt for halibut and other strange sea creatures. The journey begins in Seward Alaska where we meet with owner and captain Eric Clock and his daughter Anne. Everyone had an amazing day of fishing and this day was absolutely stunning with sunny skies and glassy seas. Everyone caught something and some came close the 100 lbs mark! So get onboard the the Seafarer, where no bananas are allowed! This is the first part in a series Iâll produce over the next year, regarding my efforts to run a sub four hour marathon. For me, the goal of running a Marathon in less than 4 hours is important to accomplish for many reasons including self confidence, a feeling that Iâve reached a new level in my running, reclamation of my inner youth, setting an example for my son, earning the respect of those who understand what a sub four means, and being able to look back at my trials and tribulations on the road over the past ten years with a new sense of appreciation for the hard work Iâve put in. A sub four hour marathon finish will mean that I have stepped it up a notch, even if itâs the only sub four I may ever run; and it will be a personal record that Iâll savor and find pride in with the knowledge that even as a middle aged, middle of the pack slightly asthmatic goofy little podcaster runner: I can do anything. Im Vordergrund standen nicht neue Rekorde, sondern die Natur, das Skibergsteigen und der Spaß in den Bergen. Abenteuerlich wurde es von ganz alleine: die Route war anspruchsvoll und führte über viele hohe Gipfel, unter anderem der Adamello- und Ortlergruppe, sowie der Ötztaler- und Stubaier Alpen. Dazu das wechselhafte Wetter mit großen Neuschneemengen, starken Höhenstürmen, aber auch einmalig schönen, wolkenlosen Stunden am Berg.

Roy Knickman had an amazing cycling career. How many riders had the opportunity to ride with Bernard Hinault, Greg LeMond, Davis Phinney, Ron Kiefel, Bob Roll and Andy Hamspten, among others.
