A documentary tribute to the controversial personality of Oscar Wilde through dramatic presentations of three of his well-known plays: LADY WINDERMERE'S FAN, SALOME and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. Plays performed by the YATRIK THEATRE GROUP and directed by Joy Michael. Program includes intimate readings by Roshan Seth (played Nehru in Richard Attenborough's film Gandhi) of passages from Wilde's DE PROFUNDIS.

About PCR: A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in painting, P. Craig Russell has run the gamut in comics. After establishing a name for himself at Marvel, he went on to become one of the pioneers in opening new vistas for this underestimated field with, among other works, adaptations of operas by Wagner (Parsifal) and Mozart (The Magic Flute). He has become an artist's artist with his fine-lined realistic style.
