The Apostle in Triumph-2
from YouTube :: Tag // lost June 29, 2008
Quite possibly the best Opeth song ever made. I have never seen it on here and figured I would take matters into my own hands and slap one together, and I do mean "slapped together". Audio has some skips...time for new cd I guess. Pics I just rounded up whatever i could search up as fast as I could search them up. Added one non Opeth pic purely for my own enjoyment and amusement. Obviously I had to slap this together in two parts thanks to the 10 minute rule. Lyrics: In solitude I wander Through the vast enchanted forest The surrounding skies are one Torn apart by the phenomenon of lightning Rain is pouring down my (now) shivering shoulders In the rain my tears are forever lost The darkened oaks are my only shelter Red leaves are blown by the wind An ebony raven now catches my eyes Sitting in calmness Before spreading its black wings Reaching for the skies In this forest Where wolves cry their agony unto the moon My spirit is hidden In the form of wisdom Carved on a black stone The only ways to follow Open your soul Redeem, I am immortal Blinded by a light My soul is held up high in glory I engulf the skies The apostle in triumph Through the eternal flame I travel As the rain keeps falling... LV Orchid Mugen #4 - Eyedol
from YouTube :: Tag // second life April 21, 2008
For B. Orchid's next fight, it will be a reunion of sorts. She is about to fight the final boss from her own source game, Killer Instinct. Eyedol by Mike Orbecht is, in my opinion, a sensible replica of how annoying he was in the original game. His combos are pratically small, but causes big damage. He also has his life regeneration powers in tact doing it after doing said combo, but if you're caught with his club uppercut combo finish, then Eyedol will regain much more energy since you'll be in the air for one hell of a long time. Let's not forget about the combo breakers. What's Killer Instinct without combo breakers, and Eyedol will use them a lot, especially if you like to combo one to many times like I do. He as two ulitmates and an ultra to boot. This Eyedol really stacks the deck. My normal combo-happy ways won't cut it in this fight since Eyedol will get wise and begin to combo break every combo you start eventually. I decided to do a few things. First, get combos in very early. The AI usually won't allow Eyedol to use combo breakers early in the match, so I try to get as many shots as possible before the combo breaking starts. Next, there are two options: either take damage from an Eyedol combo and then combo break, or get him with a leg sweep. Why do I do either one? The answer is this: to use Orchid's Spinning Sword move as much as possible since the second hit is unblockable, and get him in the air. I didn't get to do the air combos properly this time, but I still gave Eyedol what he deserves in the end.
