Selon la Croix Rouge, les deux corps des soldats israéliens dans des Ehud Goldwasser et Eldad Reguev qui lui ont été remis ce matin à 9h40 par des responsables du parti chiite du Hezbollah, sont arrivés au niveau de la frontière israélo-libanaise. Le sort des deux militaires israéliens avait été voilé jusqu’au moment de la remise de leur dépouille à la Croix Rouge. Ehud Goldwasser et Eldad Reguev ont été capturés le 12 juillet 2006 par le Hezbollah. Cette capture a été à l'origine d’un conflit entre le parti chiite et l'état hébreu qui a duré 34 jours, et qui a coûté la vie à plus de 1200 libanais dont la plupart compte parmi les civils, et 160 israéliens, militaires en majorité. Ce matin, les médias ont indiqué que les détenus libanais sont arrivés à 8h30 à la frontière israélo-libanaise au niveau du passage de Ras Nakoura. Du côté libanais, les deux soldats israéliens sont au niveau de la frontière libano-israélienne aux alentours de 9h00. De sources médiatiques, un grand nombre de Libanais se dirigent vers Nakoura pour accueillir les détenus libanais ainsi que les dépouilles des combattants libanais et palestiniens. Un accueil officiel est également prévu vers les 16h à l’aéroport international de Beyrouth, auquel le président de la République Michel Sleimane, ainsi que le président de la Chambre Nabih Berri et le Premier ministre Fouad Siniora et un grand nombre de personnalités politiques participeront. Returning from any three-day weekend generally leaves some of us a little sluggish and lacking that creative spark.
