SCHNITT represents the artistic collaboration of Fraeulein Amelie and Drama. From their common interest for minimal sound follows this german /italian project. The result is an electronic pret a porter - without compromise. A sonorous dress - flexible for all kind of changes, which, once worn , attracts by sensations and emotions emerged by the mix of pure sound and noise. An internal mirror , which reflects the personal image. The live set echoes the uniting of the 2 artists - not only in their styles. The equipment consists of the latest high tech material mixed with antique '50s turntables. The visual image is created by Suitevision exclusively for the set. The precisely tailored assembly from video and sound shows a pure SCHNITT / CUT / TAGLIO. The set previews the publication of a "12" mix for the swiss label Invisible Recordings / IT's as well as "Razionalismo in vinile volume 2" for the italian label Registrazioni Italiane. FRULEIN AMELIE got involved in the active electro and techno scene of Hamburg and Munich in 1995. Keeping contact with Michael Reinboth of the Compost label and Upstart from Gigolo Records. Coinvolved in the foundation of the 2 clubs "Der Keller" and " Dr. Kern" in 1997 she collaborated with Squarepusher, Rephlex and Acid Maria. In Italy Fraulein Amelie has been in console in several locations in Florence as the Stazione Leopolda and Fortezza da Basso. She is also present on the electronic festivals as Tune Up 2004 with Heinz Tronigger/ Los Austrias and The Dining Rooms - MUV 2005/06 and theFestival della creativit.

Drama aka Marco Monfardini has founded with Mirco Magnani the independent label Suite inc./Suiteque/Suitevision in the 90's. Marco has been working on the project Minox since the 80's and he has collaborated with Steven Brown and Blaine Reininger of Tuxedomoon and most recently with Murcof, Nobukazu Takemura, Lydia Lunch and The Gentle People. He has produced with Minox some Suite inc./Suiteque releases (MissQLee, Enfantronique, Dubital, Krisma, etc.). He has also given life to the projects 4D killer and Technophonic Chamber Orchestra with Mirco and recently Schnitt with the german dj Frulein Amelie. Drama started his project in 2000 with "The gramophone selection" a dj set completed with gramophones, evoking an early twentieth century atmosphere, a sound based on current club culture, mixed with voices from historical memory, Salvador Dali, Antonin Artuad, Jean Cocteau, and spoken words with over-lapping and downbeat rhythms, creates an expressionist mixture which is given Brechtian treatment, a futuristic fusion.
