The MOYER MODEL - The Late Social Movement Theorist Bill Moyer's Last Lecture
from - blip.tv (beta) July 21, 2007
At a gathering of students, colleagues and fans in San Francisco on September 8 2002, internationally respected social movement theorist Bill Moyer gave the final lecture on his model of how global society works and how to change it non-violently. It was the final statement of insights gathered in a lifetime of activism, societal analysis and teaching as Moyer fought a loosing battle with cancer. The author of Doing Democracy dropped his body a little over a month later on October 21, 2002. Bill was a founding Board Member of EON. He continues to be missed, but his analysis remains as relevant now as it was then.
