Islam Must Be Criticised All the Time
from Most Discussed July 22, 2008
Neville Chamberlain was warmly received by the British public when he came back from signing the Munich Agreement with Hitler in 1938. He said peace for our time on 30 September 1938. 3 September 1939 Britain and France declared war on Germany. Less than one year later. Douglas Murray used this Thought Test in a 2007 lecture on the Jihad Against the West: He said If you wanted to make a criticism of something, what could you do that would be smaller than drawing a cartoon? I know this was way, way back in December 2007, but let me finish by mentioning what Islam thinks about this. There was a group of Danish school kids that went of a scout camp and they had their own mini cartoon competition. They videoed it with their mobile phones, I think. Footage of it was passed to one of the Imams in Denmark who issued a Fatwa against these young boys that they should be put to death. People have been trying to raise enough money to protect them. Do you think that drawing a little cartoon of something should carry the death penalty? If this country becomes a muslim majority country, (and on current progress it will) then drawing such trivial cartoons WILL be punishable by death. If you don't believe me, read the Qur'an for yourself. Look into how many people have lost their hands and heads or have been stoned to death in Saudi Arabia within the past 7 days. This is not something that might happen. It WILL happen unless WE do something about it.

Howard Fineman: The Thirteen American Arguments
from We The People Stories July 21, 2008
Howard Fineman, the highly respected political journalist, joins the National Constitution Center to discuss his absorbing new work of American history, journalism, and analysis "The Thirteen American Arguments." Fineman writes that every debate we have had in the political arena, from our founding to today, has evolved from one of these arguments. Though the conventional wisdom is that Americans argue too much, Fineman believes that just the opposite is true. Fineman finds many of these basic arguments are tied to the U.S. Constitution, from the Preamble being written in the name of “We the People,” to who determines what the law is. Program recorded on 05/20/08.
