Dr. Newell Johnson, a retired pediatrician, tells about founding Edgewood Family Counseling, a social service agency. It was named Edgewood because Edgewood was the telephone exchange for the East San Gabriel Valley. Beginning Edgewood was a realy community effort and under the name Santa Anita Family Service it continues until this day.
