HD: Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
from HawaiiVog January 09, 2008
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park from hawaii on Vimeo. A visit to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. My family takes in the Kilauea Visitors Center, the Jaggar Museum, and the Thurston Lava Tube. The above is the embedded video player from Vimeo, one of the only online video hosts to serve up HD content. To see the HD video (and not a scaled and compressed Flash version), however, you need to view it at Vimeo or download the original movie file (114MB/1250x720/MP4). It should look great on an Apple TV. You can also watch this video at YouTube, Google Video, and Blip TV (low quality but fast playing). DivX fans can find this video at Stage6 (in HD). And both MPEG-4 and DivX versions can be downloaded from the Internet Archive. Jackson Hole
from BMW-web.tv December 14, 2007
Jackson Hole - "The big one" - the real wild west! It’s also one of the largest ski regions in the United States. But the Teton Mountains, which in places are up to 4,500 m high, are not for the faint of heart or inexperienced: whoever dares to ski here certainly has nerves of steel. Will BMW Reporter Olliver Stolle be able to tackle this challenge?

The black canyon
from C'est le Toon August 31, 2007
i am a Dutch amateurfilmer and homevideo enthusiast, as well as producer, director, editor of such shows Most of these films on this site are samples of my short videos, the majority edited with iMovie and compressed with Quicktime. My level of technics lies somewhere between skills for telephone-video on one hand and Final cut Pro on the other side. A great deal of the fun in making a good video, ls coming from preventing, coming acros and overcoming problems. This video blog is a communication tool between family and friends sharing news, documentaries, interviews, travellogues, videopodcasts and reviews. Also advice, info, tips and more as well as tricks and examples of how to make interesting homevideos, travelogues, (From Amsterdam till Zaragoza), ipodsfilms, vacationfilms, historical movies etc. Making-off stories. Camera and Cinema items. Other topics include videos of events or other interessting things from my neigbourhood and/or home country. Interesting subjects for filmcollectors and cinephiles. like * Cinematography * Directing * Editing * Film Formats * Production Design * Screenwriting * Special Effects * Video Production Posts on homevideos, contributions and comments or reviews are welcome Viewing tips: best quality can be obtained by choosing and using Quicktime, during downloading you could read the corresponding (Wikipedia !) texts, as sometimes download can take some time.Downloading and subscribing is also possible through Apples iTunes/or/ fireant under: C'est le Toon Other blogs include: blog.com, the internet archive as well as youtube. Not all films/videos on this side are mine. Just like other bloggers i come across interesting films i do like one way or the other, or which grip my attention because of valuable cinematographic elements which are instructive. While anyone can surf and search for these themselves, it's cool that someone is doing the selection, organizing and publishing. Since video can show a lot more than just text or pictures, there are a lot more things that video blogs can cover compared to what a typical blog or photo blog can cover. We all need audience With keeping up the emotional contents we all allow ourselves a wonderful selfexpression.
