What great reports this week! They have a youthful flavour to them both. YEL and YGMG5 - What?? Young Enterprise London and Young Graduates Museums and Galleries 5th annual program. Youth Enterprise London encourages students to start theeir own companies, teaches them how to develop and sell products and gives them bank accounts to manage! I remember when I used to have a wooden hoop and a stick etc...blablabla! YGMG5 is a real inspiration, run by the V&A and the British Museum, amongst others. They offer a training and mentoring program to students in their last two years at school. They take them behind the sceens of the most famous galleries and museums in the UK, and let them work in various different environments, getting the feel of how these wonderful institutions work. The all have massive IT departments, and science labs, as well as the usual front of house work. The students can even call experts, for homework help!!!
