The Bateman's Combined Harvest Ale, from the George Bateman & Sons company and the Salem Bridge Brewery, really goes after the grain, including barley, oats, wheat, and rye! We often only get a single grain, let alone four! Despite that, it's only 4.7% ABV. Brewed in the Burton-Upon-Trent style, using hard water to enhance flavor, this impressed Dave and really impressed Johnny.
