When it comes to Super Internet Guru HEROS of mass marketing, nobody - I MEAN NOBODY CAN ROCK THE WORLD like the Greenhouse Effect...great terrific stripped down 'videos' on Google search engines that have blasted G.e. to the top of the world for well over a year now!! Says Clark Hagins; "It all started in like October,.maybe September 2007,..we built up a slow buzz on google - and then it just EXPLODED...WHITE BLACK THANG became a monster,..i mean you look at our band and we are hillarious looking and acting,..we are so silly and nerdy,..there is nothing controversial about us YET WE ARE COMPLETELY THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL THING THAT EVER EXISTED,...with 'White Black' n all,...i mean, we don't take ourselves all that serious but we have to - at the same time,..i mean ; we practically invented 'Nerdcore" (Laughs)....Greenhouse Effect take great pride in being one of the Internet's hugest things and they have featured an ever changing band line up but with two exceptions; Bassist Rick Carmody and Lead Guitarist Clark Hagins are both 'always in the band' and for the band's entire duration from 1985 til 1992 ! "We were way WAY TOO AHEAD OF OUR TIME" says Hagins "you go to the south bay and people will tell you how i drew pictures as a child of the future ten years from my little picture,..i don't mean to brag,..but i am a genius,..i was born with only half a brain working so my one side of my mind had to store alot of shit,...i had Belles Palsy as a child and half my body didn't work,...i had to pull myself around using all the power of the right side of my brain - thats probobly why i am like this total Republican and i fucking hate liberals (Laughs),....plus,..up until i was like 6,..i mainly only spoke Spanish as my parents were really busy and they left me alot with this family of Hispanics in Lomita who spoke no English (Laughs)....i'm like the best Mexican white dude to pick up rock n roll since Ritchie Valens !!(Laughs)...i mean i am just like a short little Woody allen/ Robin williams dude who is lovable and sweet and that really comes across in all our videos,..i mean Ted just brings us all down - that guy is always a negative vibe (laughs) just kidding !! OUR BAND featured some of the greatest musicians in Los Angeles..we had people come and go and that was unfortunate because i love it when line ups stay together and intact..like the Who pretty much did for a long time,....we had drummer Martin Silva who is one of the best drummers that i have ever heard and we had Guitarist Phil Keegan (Dr. Phil). Keegan is one of the great guitarist there is ever. PERIOD. I MEAN IN THE WORLD !! EVER !!

Greenhouse Effect are the kings of Google. 40,000,000 Song plays and now their videos even on Youtube, Revver, Meta Cafe, ..and other sites are beginning to grow in Views !! "Its taken a while" says Clark Hagins..."but we've got like a couple of tracks on youtube with like 15,000 plays...Youtube is tough,..alot of the bands on there pay out for phoney hits and plays using robots and payola n' shit...ya know shit bands on major labels n' all that shit..,..I don't do that - I just use tags...People like G.e. because the music's good and thats the reason - THATS ALL - and THAT feels good!" For Greenhouse Effect 'getting discovered' and being seen by the World has been no easy task,..Says Hagins; "Up until 2007 and 2008, most of the world didn't know who G.e. was as i just gave up and quit back in 92'... - (I've never exactly been a guy who gets alot of help from the music industry!!),..the internet has changed all that,..now EVERYBODY does (much of the world knows who we are AND whats better - they know the whole grunge story now) ,..and it just feels great!" We had HUGE ambitions to take over all of rock - we had great ideas.. but all i got was tons of resistance from everyone and everywhere i went - particularly from my own family...People would say things like 'theres 10,000 bands out there tryin' to make it and 'you'll' never make it...most of the people sayin' this shit are just like these ordinary fuckers,..they don't try anything new,..they just follow follow - they're used to that shit type of wrythm,..they need to put their beer or joint down and try reading a book,..maybe after a week of being sober (Laughs)...they should read Psychological Nudity by Michael Savage..they need to read some stories,..perhaps then, they can TELL SOME of their own,...that would be interesting !!THEY NEED REAL ART !! We desperately need storytellers in America right now - we got too many followers - WE NEED REAL LEADERS !! If i would have listened to those people back in the South Bay, there would be no G.e. ...all i see back in the South Bay is a buncha punk bands that all sound the same and they think its cool to all act the same,..a buncha blues bands that all sound the same,..a buncha emo and metal bands that all sound the same,..and a buncha country bands that all sound the same ; THATS BOREING !! Redondo Music; The Greenhouse Effect in May of 1992 with "The Ballad of Kurt Cobain" from the 'Agenda' album and Clark Hagins. Agenda would be G.e's most pop radio friendly POP accessibility music! White Black Thang would be G.e's real first hit since the MAGIC MAN back in 1988 with songwritor Phil Keegan.The whole Album Agenda was laiden with good hooks but many felt that it seemed hollow compared to early 1991's GOING LEGIT and Ben is dead.
