Dans les sociétés dites évoluée , le mal à l'encontre des femmes persistent. Il semble même qu'il prenne un visage plus vicieux en pourrissant la vie de femmes libérées ayant un satut social élevé et pouvant parfaitement assurer leur autonomie financière. Les femmes battues sont un problème de société réel touchant toutes les classes sociales et prenant naisance dans sa forme actuelle, à la chosification de la femme.
