La Place du Village est dans l’Ôtre Ville un lieu de pause et de restauration, de rencontre et de discussion. Nos corps s’y posent, notre soif ou notre appétit s’y soulage, la parole s’y libère de temps à autre. Selon sa surface, elle peut abriter une terrasse, des stands (restaurant, salon de thé, librairie, primeur…). Elle y accueille tous les convives de l’Ôtre Ville pour un moment fort de convivialité et de partage : l’Auberge de la Parole. L’Auberge de la Parole se tient sur la Place du Village. The pearl of the River Moselle In the most romantic part of the Moselle Valley, lies the old town of Cochem. Even the Romans sang the praises of this remarkable landscape. Cochemer Moselpromenade The magnificent Reichsburg, the big castle, situated on a precipitous rock high above the town, dominates the landscape. As impressive as the castle itself is the view of the Moselle Valley with its beautiful forests, meadows, fields and vineyards, as well as the old part of the town. The wine-growers and restaurant owners would also like to take the time to introduce you to the variety of their excellent Riesling wines. A further attraction is a river tour on one of the Moselle boats, either during the day or at night with music and dancing, when the lights of the castle and the town are reflected in the water. Background Be wary of what's behind your subject. Through the viewfinder you're often very concentrated on the principal and don't realize until later that there is a telephone pole growing out of their head or a window sash that looks surprisingly like an arrow going in one ear and out the other. The background can also be used to add to your shot. When interviewing your grandfather about his experience in the war, for example, hanging his uniform or a map in the background, slightly out of focus, can add visual interest and useful information to the shot.

FilmtipsTell a Story - If you don't have the time to formally edit your videos, use in camera editing (i.e., the fancy name for pressing record and pause at just the right times) to neatly follow some chronological path and tell a story. People will more likely feel compelled to watch your videos if they tell a story. It matters less what the story is about than how well it's told. You don't have to narrate your videos to tell a story; the pictures can do that. Take a wedding for example. First, we get a shot of the outside of the church. Then, we get some good interior shots of the church to show what it looks like. During the ceremony, get shots of the bride and groom as well as family members' reactions. You've now told a story about the wedding that will be interesting to watch Have Fun! - The key to making good videos is enjoying yourself. Always find new and interesting things to do and to shoot to make your camera experiences fun and exciting. Experiment with your camera and see what you enjoy and what works well for you. Remember that if you're having fun, so will your viewers!
